1. Pastikan resume anda guna font yang profesional seperti Sans Serif fonts, Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, Arial, Trebuchet MS ataupun Geneva
2. Gunakan font size antara 10 hingga 12 sahaja
3. Jangan terlalu rapat untuk setiap baris ayat.
4. Tumpukan lebih banyak untuk senarai pengalaman kerja anda sebelum ini, kemahiran yang anda miliki, pencapaian tertinggi anda setakat ini. Ini antara elemen yang diperhatikan terlebih dahulu oleh majikan anda
5. Senaraikan tahap pendidikan anda dari keputusan SPM sehingga pengajian tertinggi anda
6. Buat resume ringkas tetapi padat sehingga sekali majikan anda terpandang terus mendatangkan minat untuk membelek selama beberapa saat. Samada dipertimbangkan atau tidak terpulang kepada ‘kualiti’ kandungan resume anda sendiri
7. Cukup sekadar anda letakkan nama, jawatan serta nombor telefon yang perlu dihubungi untuk tujuan penegsahan segala maklumat berkaitan yang anda tulis pada resume tersebut.
